Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Jean-Luc Had One Major Issue With the Boat
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht deckhand revealed his "biggest concern" about working on the Parsifal III.
When Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux arrived for his first day on Parsifal III during Below Deck Sailing Yacht's March 1 Season 2 premiere, the deckhand was excited to fit in. No, really fit in.
As Captain Glenn Shephard explained, the new crew member is "not just tall. He's beyond tall. He's, like, super tall," but Jean-Luc's height initially proved to be a nonissue on the yacht. "I'm pumped that this is working out," Jean-Luc said to Captain Glenn while showing a bit of space between the top of his head and the ceiling. "Because that was my biggest concern and my biggest worry."
However, when it came time for 81-inch-tall Jean-Luc to go to sleep that night, he realized he was a bit tighter on space than he initially anticipated as he attempted to settle into his 74-inch long bed. "I've been very fortunate that every boat I've worked on so far, I've fit in the bed," he said. "But on this boat...f--k me."
Despite the fact that he "actually was not able to close [his] eyes once" during his first night aboard, Jean-Luc still managed to start the following day with enthusiasm, singing, "It's gonna be a good day today!"
