In her caption, the Alaska native shared: "I did something yesterday I’ve been wanting to do for the past 7yrs - I bought a van!" She went on to explain that she's always wanted to experience "#vanlife," and has previously lived in a Sundowner trailer and an Acura.

"My Acura has been thru thick and thin with me offering Dolce and I [shelter] as we lived out our [adventures] on the [open road]," she explained, adding that trading in the vehicle was tough.

"This new purchase did not come as an easy decision even though it is a very exciting and fitting one," Rhylee wrote. "I’ve wanted this for years and yet, I’m nervous and scared s--tless, not to mention completely unaware of my next move, as I make the necessary moves to turn this into another beautiful shelter on wheels as I begin this new, and slow, [buildout] process with my new [Ford Transit.]"

Rhylee also posted a video of her farewell to her trusty Acura. "I'm saying goodbye to the Acura, and hello to the Ford," she said, panning over both vehicles as her dog scampered around in the back of the van, checking out her new home. "What do you think, Dolce? I'm gonna miss this car."

I did something yesterday I’ve been wanting to do for the past 7yrs - I bought a van! For those of you that know me, know my #vanlife journey had begun years ago when I made the decision to chase fish for a living back in my #home state of Alaska. Then, it seemed ridiculous and far fetched as the vanlife movement hadn’t necessarily taken root. In 2014, I purchased a 1971 sundowner and lived in that during my summers spent #fishing in Seward. 2016, I decided to gut the camper and #renovate into something more suitable to my needs. The day after my #build, the camper was involved in a car accident (no fault of my own) and then #rebuilt less than a week later. That was my first experience ever playing #carpenter and incidentally learned the difference between AC and DC lighting. . . My Acura has been thru thick and thin with me offering Dolce and I #shelter as we lived out our #adventures on the #openroad This new purchase did not come as an easy decision even though it is a very exciting and fitting one. I’ve wanted this for years and yet, I’m nervous and scared shitless, not to mention completely unaware of my next move, as I make the necessary moves to turn this into another beautiful shelter on wheels as I begin this new, and slow, #buildout process with my new #fordtransit . . I’m excited to have amazing friends in my corner that will help bring to fruition what has become a wildly popular and accepted way of life for #adventureprenuers like myself. 2020 has been nothing if not a rollercoaster already but, it’s a good thing I enjoy the ride!! 🧡🚐💨 #thelifeofrhylee

As she prepares for life on the open road, Rhylee doesn't foresee many occasions that will call for sparkling jumpsuits and sexy pleather dresses. On April 1, the deckhand took to Instagram Stories to open up bidding on some of the stylish designer pieces from her wardrobe. She's even selling a couple looks she's worn on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen
