George Clooney is a hands on dad—getting puked on by his twins and loving every minute of it.
The actor, 56, opened up about his twins Ella and Alexander, and while he gave most of the credit to wife Amal, he said he is doing his part.
“Suddenly, you’re responsible for other people, which is terrifying,” George told the Associated Press. “She’s like an Olympic athlete. She’s doing so beautifully.”
The babies just turned 3 months old.
“Right now my job is changing diapers and walking them around a little bit,” said George. “I really didn’t think at 56 that I would be the parent of twins. Don’t make plans. You always have to just enjoy the ride…I just have to clean the barf off of my tux,. It used to be my barf but now it’s the twins’ barf. So it all works out.”
George has been promoting his new film Suburbicon, which is set to premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
The actor and his attorney wife are expected to attend the premiere, doubling as the new parents’ first official event outing since welcoming their twins.
He also turned the topic to Donald Trump, expressing his displeasure with the president.
“It becomes increasingly clear how in over his head and incapable this man is of being president of the United States,” he said. “The good news is that our other institutions — meaning press, finally, and judges and senators — have proven that the country works. There is a check and balance.”
