How to avoid NYFW FOMO.

Lisa’s Instagram Rant

Did your invite for Alexander Wang's New York Fashion Week show get lost in the mail? Don't fret! There's no need for NYFW FOMO when you can hop on Instagram and live vicariously through fashion folks who pack their schedules full of runway shows and parties. Besides following InstaModels like Kendall Jenner and Gigi and Bella Hadid, here are editors, It Girls, and influencers to add to your feed this Fashion Month so you don't miss a thing.

1. Eva Chen

Taking three staycation days to run every single errand in my life before NYFW... wish me luck

A post shared by Eva Chen (@evachen212) on

Former Lucky magazine EIC Eva Chen heads up fashion partnerships at Instagram, so her job is literally Instagramming fashion — and her Insta stories make you feel like you're at NYFW too.

2. Chrissy Rutherford

What if I never came around the bend and walked straight into you 📷 @masha.photo

A post shared by Chrissy Rutherford (@chrissyford) on

Harper's Bazaar’s senior digital editor Chrissy Rutherford has a knack for outfits that are both classic and of the moment—and we always want to copy her NYFW style.

3. Hannah Bronfman

Let's just say I rode the elevator a few times 😭

A post shared by Hannah Fallis Bronfman (@hannahbronfman) on

We follow Hannah Bronfman to see which boutique gyms she's dropping in on or to get more deets on the juice line she's launching. But, Hannah DJs tons of cool fashion events too.

4. Duckie Thot

Australian-Sudanese model Duckie Thot just appeared in the teaser campaign for Rihanna's new beauty line, and we can't wait to see what she has in store for New York Fashion Week.

5. Olivia Palermo

Street style icon Olivia Palermo is a NYFW fixture, and we want to follow along this season as flexes her skills as a designer and launches her fall Banana Republic collection

6. Elaine Welteroth

Elaine Welteroth is the EIC of Teen Vogue, the youngest-ever editor in chief of a Condé Nast publication, and she gives her followers a fun inside look at what it’s like to be on the front lines of fashion.

7. Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert

This Italian fashion editor and stylist is such a style star that she is debuting her own fashion book—and a Bergdorfs T-shirt line just in time for NYFW.

8. Karla Welch

The kids are alright

A post shared by Karla Welch (@karlawelchstylist) on

Named The Hollywood Reporter's most powerful stylist of 2017, Karla Welch's client list includes Justin Bieber, Karlie Kloss, Ruth Negga, Lorde, Sarah Paulson, America Ferrera, and Busy Philipps—and she just tried her hand at styling with a line of perfect white tees. She documents all her clients' looks on Instagram (and posts a lot of political memes too, so be ready for that).

9. Zanita Whittington

Aussie blogger and photographer Zanita now lives in NYC, and she's always repping interesting young designers and sharing her finds on Instagram.

10. Matthew Schneier

If you enjoy standing, a career in fashion may be right for you

A post shared by Matthew Schneier (@matthewschneier) on

NY Times Styles reporter Matthew Schneier hops around to all the shows and we love hearing his arch take on the bigger themes of each NYFW.
