Kim Richards Invites Sister Kyle to The Special Sanctuary That Helped Her Recover
They’re the picture of sisterly perfection.
Kim Richards may have publicly battled with substance abuse on previous seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but recent Instagram posts make it clear that those days are long behind her (whether Lisa Rinna believes it or not).
Despite her brutal rejection of a cellophane-wrapped bunny, Kim has proven that animals are saving grace—particularly the horses at Skydog Sanctuary, a non-profit rescue that saves mustangs in need and raises awareness about wild horses in America.
Kim has been volunteering at the sanctuary for over a year, citing it as a source of joy and calm. “I can’t even begin to tell you peace & love that I felt from [the horses],” she has said.
And now it seems that Kim is ready to invite the rest of her family into her corner of happiness. This weekend, Kyle Richards posted a picture of herself with her sister and one of the Skydog rescues with the sweet caption, “Fun visiting my sister @kimrichards11 in her element at the @skydogsanctuary incredible place that rescues/rehabilitates horses.”
But it wasn’t just Kyle that she let into her world. She also invited her daughter Brooke, her son-in-law Thayer, and her grandson Hucksley!
Next up? Her daughter Whitney Davis and Luke Graham White.
She also shared a beautiful photo of her favorite horse, Jackson. “Jackson is a Big Guy! Over 17 hands ... and is so Loving & Gentle! It takes time for them feel safe, loved & let the trust develop after what they been thru.. He now is healthy, happy & loved & has had my Heart since the first time I saw him over a year when he arrived! @skydogsanctuary #wildandfree #passthesafeact #mustangsanctuary”
We’re so happy for Kim that she’s doing so well, and we’re thrilled that she is sharing Skydog Sanctuary with her family—and her audience!
