Kristin Cavallari Wears a "Dagger Necklace" While She Grills Burgers
The mom of three showcased her new jewelry line with intimate photos.
In January, Kristin Cavallari stepped away from her jewelry line, Emerald Duv. At the time, the Laguna Beach alum admitted that working on the collection left her feeling "restricted," but she promised fans that the best was "yet to come!" She also teased the new jewelry was in the works, and revealed that the forthcoming line would have an "effortless, timeless, and refined" aesthetic.
Well, the time has come for us to check out those effortless baubles. Earlier this week, K-Cav announced the launch of Uncommon James. Her new jewelry collection is named after Kristin's daughter Saylor, whose middle name is James. It was also her brother's midle name. (Still following?) The pieces—which include ear cuffs, stackable rings, and statement necklaces—are meant to be easy. As in: layer 'em, stack 'em, and never take them off. Even when making burgers.
"I don't want to spend 10 minutes trying on different jewelry," the California native told Us Weekly's Stylish. "These are the pieces you're going to wear every single day." As proof, Kristin took over Uncommon James's Instagram account on launch day, uploading intimate snaps of herself wearing the jewelry while going about her everyday tasks. She also gave fans a peek at her healthy diet.
First up on launch day: a breakfast of overnight oats with "homemade strawberry sauce."
Then, the #UncommonJamesGirl hit the gym.
When Kristin got home, it was time to pack for an Uncommon James launch party in Los Angeles. Along with a crisp, white tee and a color-block shoulder bag, the Balancing in Heels author toted along her Glitz statement necklace, Downtown ear cuff, and Uptown bracelet.
Green-bean fries and burgers were for dinner, and Kristin cooked them up wearing a simple white blouse and—why not?—her Dagger necklace.
Though she hasn't shared the recipe for those fries, Kristin did make it easy for fans to copy her accessorizing style. The pieces in the collection top off at just $89.
