When you go to London for the first time, it’s basically tourist regulation that you ride one of the city’s classic double-decker buses. You hop on, cruise around in the open-top, take lots of selfies against the iconic red veneer, hop off at the Tower of London, and declare yourself an expert in all-things-English.
But now, there’s a brand-new tour bus in town—and it is for dogs ONLY. In homage to the original, the K9 Bus Tour (sponsored by MORE TH>N, which promotes pet health and pet insurance) takes pooches sight-seeing all over London, teaching them about the city’s canine history and pointing out dog-centric landmarks.
According to the press release, the pup tourists will visit Victoria Tower Garden (site of the annual Parliament Dog Show), Hyde Park (London’s most famous dog walking hotspot), and The Kennel Club (with Europe’s largest collection of dog paintings), among other places.
They’ll also learn fun facts such as “Queen Elizabeth II has owned more than 30 corgis during her reign and currently has one named Willow. Three of her Corgis even made an appearance when James Bond arrived at Buckingham Palace to escort the Queen to London 2012 opening ceremony.”
