Millie Bobby Brown Just Landed a Huge Modeling Gig
What can't this 12-year-old do?
Millie Bobby Brown may not be old enough to drive a car—or even register for Driver's Ed—but she's landed a gig most adults can only dream of. Ready for this? The 12-year-old star of Stranger Things will appear in an upcoming Calvin Klein campaign.
This isn't just your run-of-the-mill ad series, mind you: it will mark the brand's first since Raf Simons took over as chief creative officer. (ICYMI: Raf was formerly the creative director at Christian Dior.)
New leadership means new initiatives for Calvin Klein, and Millie will be one of 15 models to help promote the new By Appointment service. Formerly available to celebs only, the service offers made-to-measure clothes for clients.
Calvin Klein reps explained the By Appointment campaign in this kind of mysterious, definitely empowering, way: "A cast of distinct individuals brings the idea to life: Strength of character is key. Whether famous or unknown, all are treated equally." (This kind of brings Khloe Kardashian's Good American jeans campaign to mind.)
Millie announced the campaign as all kids these days do—via Instagram—and gave us a sneak peek at what she'll wear. Her colorful, fringed top and tuxedo-stripe pants are certainly individualistic. And, the rest of the campaign teasers are just as distinctive.

And another one offers a playful take on a cheerleader uniform. Here's to nonconformity in fashion—and, to precocious young women.
