#RHAwards Decision 2016 Issues: Animal Rights

Animal rights are Housewives rights, and Housewives rights are animal rights.

Animal Rights: What You Need to Know

Few issues are closer to our Real Housewives' hearts than animal rights. From basing a book after their pet like Bethenny Frankel's Cookie da Boo Boo to putting a wig on your dog for your wedding a la Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Animals are in the forefront of Housewife life. Be it a hairless Housecat, a mini horse, or a little sex monster, our 'Wives are dedicated to the care - and dressing up - of all animals. Remember, it was on Watch What Happens Live where possibly the first cross species wedding was performed by none other than Andy Cohen as Grandma Wrinkles and Giggy became one.

A Surprise Bravo Wedding

Our 'Wives will go to any lengths to protect and honor their furry and feathered friends. Perhaps there was no more touching a moment than Sonja Morgan's send-off for her brave and beautiful pup, Millou. May we never forget:

Because who better to come home to after a long night at the Regency than your best animal pal? We're sure that animals will continue to be a vital party of our Housewives' lives for seasons to come.

The Decision 2016 Breakdown

This year has been just as significant for our Housewives anical activisits as they continue to champion Animal rights the world over. Of course, we're speaking of Lisa Vanderpump and her efforts to end the Yulin Dog Festival.

But that's not all, Lisa nursed her ill swan Hanky back to health – with pellets and kisses. A true animal advocate if we've ever seen one.

There was the historic moment when Carole Radziwill's dog Baby proudly stood as bridesmaid in the celebrity dog wedding of Toast and Finn,

It was a sad year for newest New Jersey 'Wife Dolores Catania when she had to say goodbye to her beloved Boo. A true animal lover, Dolores surrounded herself with puppy love as she mourns the loss of her best friend.

Dorinda Medleyproved her dedication to Animal Rights, when in an unseen, but significant moment this year, she help a funeral for a bird at Blue Stone Manor. Don't worry, she made it nice.

Of course, not all animals are our Housewives' friends. Besties Brandi Redmond and Stephanie Hollman showed some wasps who's boss, donning what else - fur. These ladies were serious about protecting their home from the pesky invaders.
