This App Is Kim Kardashian West's Secret Styling Weapon, and It's Free
Dressing like a street-style star has never been so easy.
If you're trying to limit the amount of time you spend scrolling through Instagram, we hate to break this to you: your addiction is about to get a lot worse. Thanks to a new app called ScreenShop, you can get detailed shopping info on your favorite online looks by snapping a quick screen shot. So, that only gives you another reason to pore over Instagram, Twitter, websites (like, you know, The Lookbook), and other apps looking for stylish ensembles.
The app already has the thumbs-up from fashion guru Kim Kardashian West so you know it's bound to be good.
ScreenShop uses patent-pending technology to scan screenshots and pull up similar items that users can shop on the spot, and Kardashian West was closely involved in the app's development.
In a statement, Kardashian West said: "It's not a secret that I love social media, and the notion of being able to shop from my feed is something I could only dream about." (Raise your hand if you can relate.) Kardashian West worked with ScreenShop's team for a year to develop the concept, and the free app officially launched on November 7.
As a few staffers at Bravo HQ can already attest, the app is easy to use — and frightfully addictive. But, at least you'll come out of all that scrolling with a slew of enviable new outfits.
