Kim Kardashian West Uses This Makeup On The Back of Her Neck

Kim Kardashian West recently invited fans into the bathroom of her Toronto hotel. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had about 10 minutes to apply a full face of makeup, and used Livestream to let viewers in on her beautifying process—without a pro makeup artist in sight.

After moisturizing with a dab of La Mer's $240 Perfecting Treatment, Kim layers a few different foundations, which she blends with a wet Beautyblender. (One of those foundations is Giorgio Armani's "sheer, shimmer stuff," which gives Kim says gives her a little "extra glow.")

There are a few surprises in the routine. For one: Kim is still on a contouring kick, and she starts the process by buffing dark powder into her hairline. She also applies foundation all over her lips, and on the back of her neck. What's more, she uses a tiny mascara brush by Kevyn Aucoin as a top coat on her regular mascara, and purposely creates "clumpy bottom" lashes.

But, perhaps the biggest surprise of all comes when Kim catchers herself before delving too far into the kind of highlighter she uses under her eyes: "I'm not even gonna tell you guys, because I have some exciting things coming out," she teases. Could there be two makeup moguls in the fam? Regardless, Kim's not trying to out lip-gloss her sister: Kylie Cosmetics' Candy K is a staple in Kim's kit.
