Top Chef Alum Dale Talde Is Opening a New Restaurant This Weekend

We couldn't be more excited about the cheftestant's Brooklyn venture.

He's back! Top Chef favorite Dale Talde is opening his latest venture on Sunday, a huge 180-seat restaurant and sports bar in Brooklyn, NY, according to The New York Times. Called Atlantic Social, the restaurant will serve "an eclectic menu of new American classics."

How to Watch

Watch Top Chef on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

What exactly does that mean? Pastas, pan pizzas, bar fare, and entrees like a 14-ounce ribeye and a lobster dinner (lobster roll, chowder, and Old Bay fries), all with that signature Talde twist. For example: a Spanish version of loaded potato skins, served with chorizo, Manchego, and a spicy aioli, and the Chicken Pot Pie Ramen, which mashes up two classic American and Japanese dishes.

And of course, you can't miss the General Tso's chicken wings, a play on Talde's signature Kung Pao wings. Naturally, there's a full bar, with a killer cocktail program and a selection of local craft beers.

If all that isn't enough to keep you happy, there's plenty to keep you entertained, too. The restaurant boasts 16 flat-screen HD TVs, a pool table, sofas, a fireplace, and shuffleboard (hey, it's in Brooklyn, after all).

Atlantic Social is located right across from the Barclays Center, a giant sports and entertainment complex that's hosted the likes of Beyoncé, Jay Z, Madonna, and Rihanna. It's a smart move: we can only imagine that pre- and post-event revelers will keep the place constantly buzzing.
