Danielle Staub Reveals What's Next After Her Divorce from Marty Caffrey: "Contemplating the Celebration"

Danielle Staub is ready to start her next chapter after her divorce from Marty Caffrey was finalized on Thursday (February 21) in New Jersey. The officially-single The Real Housewives of New Jersey pal offered an update on what her plans are now that she's divorced.

"[I'm] very happy now!" she told TMZ outside the courthouse the day she and her husband of less than a year finalized their divorce. "So relieved. I never took his name for a reason because who wants to be called Caffrey? Staub is my name — don't forget it."

As for any chance at a reconciliation, Danielle made it clear to TMZ that it definitely won't happen. But, she did note she has been dating: "I've been dipping already, baby. But nowhere in New Jersey. Jersey boys are not for me."

Her rep confirmed the latest development in their split in a statement to The Daily Dish on Thursday: “This has been a difficult road for Danielle, but she is glad everything is finalized and she can now move forward to the next chapter of her life.”

Danielle and Marty married last May with Teresa Giudice and Margaret Josephs both serving as Matrons of Honor, while Melissa Gorga was a bridesmaid. The event included a lavish ceremony, as well drama between the bride and her pals. It was featured on Season 9 of RHONJ (clip above). 

After the "I dos," the couple announced their plans to separate just months later over the summer. Divorce papers were filed in September. 

Now, it seems, Danielle is ready to celebrate their split, as she teased on Instagram Stories.
