It was a family affair on Thursday night when Joe Gorga gathered up those closest to him to celebrate the release of his book, The Gorga Guide to Success, in which he shares his tips on how to succeed in business, marriage, and, well, in life. His wife, Melissa Gorga, and kids were on hand to fete the book — as well as his sister, Teresa Giudice, who was there to applaud her brother on the same day her husband, Joe Giudice, was released from prison after serving a 41-month sentence and was transferred "to a facility in western Pennsylvania which houses immigration detainees."

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/7c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

The event took place in NYC and Andy Cohen also stopped by the bash to have a drink with The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband as he marked the big occasion. Margaret Josephs, her husband, Joe Benigno, Dolores Catania, and Frank Catania also made cameos at the party.

The family may have taken out some time to celebrate Joe, but Teresa is still waiting on what will happen next in her husband's legal case. They are waiting on a decision to be made in connection with the appeal filed last November after a judge ruled in October that Joe would have to be deported back to Italy after he completed his prison sentence.

Joe's attorney, James J. Leonard Jr., confirmed to The Daily Dish on Thursday (March 14) the latest development in Joe's ongoing legal issues: “Mr. Giudice has finished serving his federal prison sentence and was transferred early this morning from the Bureau of Prisons to a facility in western Pennsylvania which houses immigration detainees," he said in a statement. "His lawyers and his family are hopeful that justice will prevail and Mr. Guidice will return home to his wife and four daughters who love him and miss him.”
