Cindy Crawford Has "Regrets" About Nude Photo Shoots She "Got Talked Into"
The supermodel gets candid about the pressures in the fashion industry.
Over the past 30 years, Cindy Crawford’s bountiful career has been filled with iconic campaigns, high-end runway appearances, and next-level editorial spreads. But it wasn’t always smooth sailing for the supermodel.
In a recent interview with Town & Country, the momager revealed that she has had to face industry pressures in the past. "Look, I’ve done nude photos, lots. The only ones I regretted were the ones that I kind of got talked into," she shared.
Having learned from the experience, this is something the mother of rising models Kaia Gerber and Presley Gerber hopes her children never have to face: "I don’t want my children to ever look back and think, ‘Gosh, I wish I hadn’t done that.’ I want to empower them to just say, ‘I’m outta here."
While the fashion industry is facing an influx of sexual harrasment reports, you can bet that the momager will always stay close by for advice and protection. "I’m really lucky, because I don’t have a #MeToo story," she said. "As far as being a mother of two young people going into fashion, of course I worry. But let’s be honest. My kids are blessed in that business because they aren’t coming in as unknowns. People know that I will come after them if they mess with my kids."
