Kaia Gerber and Bella Hadid Looked Like Jackie O Clones on the Moschino Runway
This show felt like time-traveling, with perfectly flippy bobs and pillbox hats.
If you ever wondered what it would look like if the Hadid sisters and Kaia Gerber were supermodels back in the 1960s, we now know — thanks to Moschino. Designer Jeremy Scott sent out an oh-so mod, '60s-inspired collection in Milan yesterday that made us want to go back and re-watch Mad Men.
This show itself felt like time-traveling, with perfectly flippy bobs and pillbox hats, as seen on the Insta-Girls. But there was a surreal element too, since some models wore neon suits and even brighter body paint for a very Jetsons-look.
Even though it looks like the show's theme was Betty Draper and Jackie O go out to lunch, WWD reveals that Scott actually based the collection on conspiracy theories. Either way, hopefully noted Moschino fan Erika Girardi from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will put her own spin on these looks.
Here's a close-up of Hadid and Gerber's hair-sprayed bouffants.
If Moschino wants to turn this runway show into a series, we're all for it.
