The actress is making a big change from her previous Parisian fringe.

For a while, Vampire Diaries alum Nina Dobrev was scissor happy when it came to her hair. She chopped off her long hair and then debuted bold bangs to go along with her bob (the look was for her role as a Parisian artist in the upcoming film Lucky Day).

Now Dobrev is back at it in the stylist chair, but her tousled new cut is a stepping stone on the way back to long hair. Her stylist, celeb hair guru Chris McMillan wrote on Instagram that Dobrev's layers are the "best way to grow out your bob. Face framing layers and add a few long layers."

Dobrev had another way to sum it up: "70’s Shag" is how she captioned her Instagram.

Note to all the other stars rocking bobs right now, like Khloé Kardashian, The Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Judge, and Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi: this shag might be your next cut.
