Yup, Orlando Bloom Just Called Out Emma Stone for Stealing His Hairstyle
"Elf stole my look!"
Emma Stone isn't one to stick to a single hair color for long. The Oscar winner has been a readhead, a blonde, and a brunette — and her latest hairstyle demonstrates the art of elfish glamour. At least, according to Orlando Bloom.
Let's back up. For her role in the upcoming Netflix series Maniac, Stone traded in her signature look for a platinum blonde style that looked quite familar to Bloom. See if Stone's new style rings any bells for you (hint: fantasy fiction fans will have an edge here) ...
Still stumped? Let us refresh your memory with this visual of a younger Bloom, wearing a full head of flowing, platinum-blonde hair in his role as the elf Legolas in Lord of the Rings. The resemblance is quite familiar, wouldn't you say?
Bloom himself said just that, when he jokingly took to Instagram to call Stone out on her fit-for-fantasy-land look. "Elf stole my look!!," he wrote, using ample laughing emjois to show that, from one elf to another, there were no hard feelings.
He went on to praise Stone's brazen style move: "when your blonde locks get a revamp... and improved upon," Bloom added, before paying Stone the ultimate compliment. He called the actress a "true elven sista." (We just laughed so loud, it's possible our coworkers think this mug of coffee is spiked ... )
While Stone has yet to respond to the shocking allegations of elf-kindom idea-borrowng, she's not alone in being good-naturedly trolled for dyeing her hair blonde to match another celebrity. Kris Jenner, we're looking at you!
