Pamela Anderson Sent Kim Kardashian West a Faux Fur Coat for a Very Important Reason

Kim Kardashian West and Pamela Anderson are both bombshell beauties, but the two certainly have their differences when it comes to expressing their famous senses of style. While Anderson is a passionate advocate for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), and stays away from wearing fur, the reality star has been known to wrap herself up in a fury mink or two. So, when the former Baywatch star sent the KKW Beauty mogul a faux mink coat as a holiday gift, the stylish package didn't come without a bit of a message. 

Anderson gifted Kardashian West a plush coat by Only Me Eco Fur. (The cute, custom style reportedly had a coral-pink hood.) But, the note that came with the cozy present said a bit more than "happy holidays." Anderson wrote a note that was friendly and warm — but she didn't hold back on imploring the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star to reconsider her stance on fur.

"As we all ponder New Year’s resolutions, won’t you consider making a meaningful one to stop wearing fur? You’d be setting a trendy, compassionate example,” Anderson wrote. “Kim, I know your young fans would admire you and your brand even more if you dropped fur. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday!” 

Defending animals is certainly a worthy cause, and we're all for the approach Anderson took in advocating for a fur-free world. She was respectul and kind toward Kardashian West while making her case — and the Selfish author walked away from the whole thing with a warm and stylish look for the holiday season. If the package inspires Kardashian West to adopt some more eco-friendly fashion practices in 2018, we're all for it!

And in the meantime, we're inspired to see that Kardashian West has also been using her public platform for social activism — the KUWTK star recently advocated for the release of a young woman who had been jailed for killing the man who forced her into sex trafficking.
