Caroline Manzo Shows the Towering Christmas Tree at Her NJ Home: "She Has Arrived"
The RHONJ alum also shared a sweet video from her new Christmas tradition: decorating Markie's playhouse.
It's a fact: Caroline Manzo and her adorable granddaughter Marchesa "Markie" Scalia are the cutest duo of all. Caroline has kept fans updated on their special relationship, sharing photos of her granddaughter's best outfits and even joking about Markie's future Housewife tagline. More recently, the Manzo'd With Children matriarch celebrated the holiday season with her granddaughter, partaking in both old and new traditions.
In a December 12 Instagram post, The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum shared a look at her massive Christmas tree. "She has arrived," Caroline exclaimed referencing the tree. The large fir, which stood tall against the living room's two-story windows, was not yet decorated — but if photos from Christmases past are any indication, Caroline's tree will be decked out with gorgeous baubles in no time.
Getting a Christmas tree isn't the only holiday tradition for Caroline and her family; Markie's annual playhouse lighting ceremony commenced a day after the tree arrived. (Last year, the family held the "first official Markie Scalia holiday house lighting.")
Caroline took to social media on December 13 to share a special video from the night. In the clip, Markie and other children could be heard singing "Jingle Bells" prior to the playhouse lighting. After a quick countdown, the mini home lit up with twinkling colored lights. A Santa decoration could be seen in front of the play space while a small wreath hung from the door. Blue lights lit up the walkway to the playhouse, while rainbow lights outlined the windows and railing. "Joy to the World" played through the speakers as the children ran towards the house.
"Second annual Markie playhouse lighting," Caroline captioned the sweet video. "Kids had so much fun."
