Al Manzo Just Gave the Backyard a Major Upgrade for Granddaughter Markie
Caroline and Al Manzo's granddaughter is going to be swinging and sliding all summer long.
Lauren Manzo Scalia and her daughter, Markie, have been self-quarantining at her parents Caroline and Al Manzo’s New Jersey home for quite some time now. The tight-knit Manzo'd with Children family have been spending their days cooking, watching movie, and building forts. Lots and lots of forts! But as the weather as warmed, grandpa Al — who Caroline has described as “the biggest teddy bear” when it comes to his granddaughter, Markie — thought his sprawling backyard need something else.
And that something else, much to Markie’s delight, was a humongous swing set! In a share to her Instagram Stories, Lauren posted a video of the huge structure, which includes not one but two slides, a climbing wall, monkey bars, and ladders galore. “Pop pop got his girl a quarantine swing set!” Lauren captioned the video, which also showcased Markie and grandma Caroline taking the swings for a test drive and a happy Al looking on.
Can we all agree this is the cutest thing ever? And that Al is officially a contender for the best grandpa on the planet award? Something tells us Markie is about to have the best summer ever.
