Caroline Manzo's Granddaughter Markie Is Making Cozy Pillow Forts at Home
The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum shared how her granddaughter is staying busy amid self-quarantine.
Caroline Manzo's 3-year-old granddaughter is passing the time in self-quarantine by honoring an age-old childhood tradition. In a recent Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of New Jersey OG showed off an impressive pillow fort, which Markie herself had constructed using found materials from around the house.
The April 6 post showed a couch and a coffee table covered in a pile of blankets... and there might be a tablecloth or two in that mix, now that we're looking closely. It appears that Markie placed some cushions on the floor for her guests to sit on, as well. We can make out an adult seated on the floor of the fort, atop a red velvet cushion. How hospitable!
In her caption, the Manzo'd with Children matriarch gave some props to the structure's young architect. "My little chick pea is serious about her forts." she wrote, adding "my Markie girl" with a sparkling-heart emoji.
When she's not honing her architecture skills in the living room, Markie has stayed busy helping her grandma in the kitchen. In a recent Instagram post, Caroline shared a photo of her young apprentice kneading some dough on a flour-strewn countertop. "It’s become part of our daily routine — my precious pizza making girl," she wrote.
