Jazmin Johnson is extremely disciplined when it comes to following a healthy diet and workout regimen. So what exactly does the Married to Medicine Los Angeles star eat in a day? She recently shared all of the details of her eating habits with The Daily Dish podcast.
Jazmin’s diet isn’t just about the kinds of food she eats. She’s also dedicated to a very specific eating schedule.
“I eat about five to six meals a day,” she explained. “I start my morning with either a protein shake or an egg white omelette. After that, I like to go every two to three hours with a meal, so I’ll go from breakfast to two to three hours later, and I’ll have another meal.”
Jazmin’s second meal of the day is typically the heartiest: “That meal will be pretty packed because I probably will have worked out already,” Jazmin said. “That will consist of maybe six ounces of chicken and some veggies, like spinach or bell peppers. I love bell peppers.”
The remaining three or four meals of the day are all “pretty similar” after the larger second meal, but they are always centered around protein, which Jazmin said is the most vital part of her diet: “I always build it around protein. I have to get my protein in, and I’m always getting between four and six ounces."
As for cheat meals? There are two different directions Jazmin may go in if she’s looking for a treat. “If we’re talking about dessert, I love the So Delicious. It’s made out of cashew milk. They have like, caramel-infused chocolate covered ice cream pops,” she explained. “When it comes to food, I love fried chicken.”
