Quad: My Heart Is Heavy for Simone
Quad hands out the award for best shade this week.
It’s not the Brady Bunch, It’s the Shady Bunch
Tonight’s episode was a shade fest! First, Jill Connors enters throwing shade at Toya. Next, Heav shades “She Who Shall Not Be Named.” Then, Toya follows up with more shade, saying, “If she was [She Who Shall Not Be Named], she wouldn’t want her husband to go the strip club either.” And the #1994PromDress comment, well I’m still laughing! Hell, Toya even shades her husband about his business not making money. Well damn! Heav shades Jackie, stating Jackie hasn’t really done anything. Then, Heav shades Jill about her fake breasts. Finally, Cecil even gets in on the shade as he says Darren is doing something different after the strip club. However, Simone wins the shade of the week award with “You must be the sh-- to be on the cover of a magazine nobody’s ever heard of.”
Speaking of Simone, my heart is so heavy for her. It brings me to tears to see her so hurt. I know how it feels to be there for someone, and they give you their ass to kiss. I know what it feels like to be betrayed by a friend #SheWhoShallNotBeNamed. However, she can’t blame Toya for the issues she has with her father. It does, however, offer Toya understanding as to why Simone became so upset. Just give it time, because time heals all wounds. I’m hoping in time Toya and Simone will come to terms with one another.
Toya definitely picked up on “She Who Shall Not Be Named's” threatening behavior at the "haunted hospital" as Toya describes dangling something over my head. I’ve always been an open book, and I have nothing to hide, but I didn’t appreciate the seed planting. Implying something else was there!
Jackie, job well done! You’re a real friend there to support Simone in her time of need. Helping her to get to the root of the issues. Supporting her with love and honesty. I’m proud of you Jackie!
As you guys can see, things were very lighthearted and fun for me as I shopped at Lucy’s market. I’m not mad at “She Who Shall Not Be Named”--more disappointed than anything. I decided to do a background investigation not to harm or hurt her or her family but to show her how NOT to treat a friend. It’s important that I end this before it gets really messy. I want to be the BIGGER person and sit down with her to resolve the issue before it gets to the point of no return. She’s already being childish with bringing the blogs into it and attempting to assassinate my business. Just desperate! However, I believe women should be able to communicate with one another without name calling or causing bodily harm. I have high hopes for us! Tune in June 5 at 8/7c to see what happens next…
