Anila Sajja Opens Up About Her Home Being Burglarized: “The Hardest Time in Our Life”

In December 2021, Anila Sajja revealed that her home had been burglarized while she and her family were out of the house. On the September 18 episode of Married to Medicineshe shared more details about the terrifying experience.

“They took every f--king thing,” Anila could be heard saying in a self-shot video that showed the immediate aftermath of the break-in. “Every piece of f--king jewelry… They took my [wedding] ring.” Later, Quad Webb recounted a conversation she had with Anila and explained to Dr. Heavenly Kimes that the criminals also “stole a lot of family heirlooms [and Anila’s] handbags.” 

In an episode interview, Anila explained how her family was emotionally effected by the crime. “I got robbed. It’s the hardest time in our life as a family that we’ve been through,” she said. “I would never wish this upon my worst enemy.”

Anila first opened up about the burglary in a December 21, 2021, Instagram post. “Vandals broke into our home and removed irreplaceable items that have been passed down through generations,” she wrote in part. “We feel so violated at this time.” Four days later, on Christmas Day, she shared a photo with her husband, Dr. Kiran Sajja, and their two kids, Aryana and Avir. She captioned the post: “Take away all our possessions, and we are left with one structure held together by love: FAMILY.”
