Anila Sajja Has Finally Finished Her $3M Home Build: See Every Gorgeous Detail
The Married to Medicine cast member showed off her incredible newly built 14,000-square-foot house.
After two years of construction totaling $3 million, Anila Sajja and her family have finally moved into their incredible home. However, the Married to Medicine cast member's work on the 14,000-square-foot house isn't complete just yet. "We moved in in April, and we still have a couple of things that need to get done," Anila told BravoTV.com. "Just little things that we're still kind of waiting on to get finished."
The COVID-19 pandemic caused "a lot of things got delayed with the home," Anila explained. "We're doing a big fireplace [with] stone going all the way up, and we're just waiting on stone from Italy." Additionally, "Now it takes like a year for appliances to come," Anila shared. "So we're waiting on just a few beverage fridges and wine fridges and stuff like that."
As seen on Married to Medicine's June 20 episode, the home isn't furnished yet, but Anila is more than ready for her pieces to arrive. "Our goal is to furnish our home in a few months. We're just waiting on furniture to come in," she shared. "I have an interior decorator. . .we're still deciding on the install date, but she's going to like kick us out of our house for, like, two days and literally install all the furniture. We're going to walk in like HGTV and see the house furnished, and I cannot wait. I'm so excited."
Although the home isn't yet complete with furniture and decor, Anila already has a few favorite rooms. "I think our kitchen is just so unique and different," she said. "I just love how it came out, from our pendants to the stone that we picked out for our counters. It's just a very modern look. It's different from any kitchen that I've seen."
Anila is also obsessed with the living room, which has a "stunning" feature: "Our living room fireplace wall is so unique. It's LED lit up all the way up." Her "other favorite place" in the home is the "super modern" bathroom. "It's such a spa-like place," she explained. "We have our tub inside our shower, and then we both have our own area."
Of course, when building the house, the fashionista created her dream closet. "My closet is like the place I hang out. I love it," she said. While some of her castmates have multi-story closets in their homes, Anila is happy to have all of her clothing on one level. "A lot of people ask, 'If you have such an expensive home, why not do two stories?' But, really, for me as a blogger, I love to be able to see all of my stuff in one space to pick my outfit out," she explained. "I like to see everything I have kind of in that one space instead of like going up and down...I'm not trying to work out, I'm trying to get an outfit together."
