Toya Bush-Harris Is "Accessorizing" Her Fabulous Atlanta Home
The Married to Medicine cast member is working with her decorator — and her hubby — to lend some more "balance" to her lavish pad.
Toya Bush-Harris' husband is certainly handy in the kitchen. The Married to Medicine cast member often shows off Dr. Eugene Harris' culinary repertoire, which includes oysters Rockefeller, grilled crab legs, and homemade French fries with a secret ingredient. (Psst: It's fried onions.) But for now, Eugene has swapped in his tongs for a measuring tape as he tries his hand as interior decorator.
One of Toya's recent Instagram Stories found her hubby standing on top of a ladder, getting ready to hang some decorative plates on a crisp white wall. It was all part of the plan for Toya and Eugene's decorator, who was in the midst of "accessorizing" the couple's Atlanta estate.
"She's put Eugene to work," Toya said, snickering playfully. "Look: She's brought things for Eugene to put up. She said my house needed balance."
In the name of balance, wing-like sculptures had been added to each side of Toya's fireplace. "I think they're bird wings," Toya said. "[The decorator] said they're angel wings. She's the designer, right? So, she's accessorizing."
And how: Burnished urns sat in one corner, and a white ottoman had been topped with a blue throw blanket and a tray laden with candlesticks. There were also vases and sculptures on glass shelves, and it looked like more was in the works.
"She's working hard," Toya said, as her decorator bustled around. In the meantime, take a peek at the new accessories that are already in place:
