Jeffrey Alan Marks: Master Chef

JAM discusses his Thanksgiving, his upcoming book, and some plates he couldn't stand to part with.

By Jeffrey Alan Marks

I'll be back on the show next week. . .this week you got to see a little glimpse of my cooking skills.

Thankfully I didn't cook our Thanksgiving meal, which was great by the way. Ross and I spent the weekend eating everything we could find. It was nice to take a few days off from work and relax. Holidays are always too short lived, and as I write this at my desk in my office I have a stack of revisions for my new book staring at me that need to be reviewed. I can't wait to share images from the book with you, but for now you are going to have to be patient and wait.

In the meantime I have a sale on One Kings Lane this week. I went on the hunt for the best antique and vintage finds in Santa Barbara, and I found a lot of amazing stuff. My favorite item is the paint splattered dinner plates. I kept 12 for myself and there some left in the sale for the first person who can get them. I used mine for Thanksiving and they where a hit.
