Josh Flagg Just Made a Major Career Move: "Sometimes You Need to Shake Things Up"
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent opened up about leaving Rodeo Realty for Douglas Elliman.
Josh Flagg is ready for a big change. The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles cast member is leaving Rodeo Realty and is heading to Douglas Elliman.
"I have been approached by many companies over the years to jump ship and go on to other ventures. I never felt there was a reason before now," Josh told PEOPLE. "Elliman approached me and I was extremely impressed with their company. Sometimes you need to shake things up."
While speaking to the magazine, Josh noted that his castmates and Douglas Elliman agents Tracy Tutor and Josh Altman were "instrumental" in his decision.
Several Bravolebs reached out with supportive messages when Josh announced the news on Instagram. "Proud of you my friend," RHOBH's Crystal Kung Minkoff wrote. Million Dollar Listing New York cast member and fellow Elliman agent Kirsten Jordan added, "So excited to have you!"
In his interview with PEOPLE, Josh hinted at how the career move may impact MDLLA in the future. "It'll be interesting because now four of the cast members are now in the same company and office," he said. (Fredrik Eklund, who is a full-time cast member for Season 13, is also a Douglas Elliman agent.) "So there will be interesting synergy, at least."
MDLLA returns for a supersized 90-minute premiere on Thursday, September 2 at 8/7c. Watch the Season 13 trailer in the video above. Catch up on previous seasons of MDLLA on Peacock or through the Bravo app.
