Josh Flagg Shares How He Is Coping During Home Self-Quarantine
The MDLLA broker says the isolation at home is taking him to a time “where life was simpler.”
Like most of us during self-quarantine, Josh Flagg is going a bit stir crazy. Case in point: The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles broker recently shared an Instagram video of himself running around his pool screaming, “I can’t take it!” Captioning the post, “Get me out of this f***ing house,” Josh also tagged the location as “Los Angeles County Mental Health Services.” Too funny.
In a more serious post, however, Josh got reflective about what this time of social distancing and staying home will mean in the long run to both ourselves and our kids. “At this moment we may feel stuck at home… but keep in mind that we are safe at home,” Josh wrote in a memo shared to his Instagram account. “Our kids are experiencing a bit of life that was forgotten long ago. A time where families actually sat down and ate dinner together. A time where you could stroll down any street in the flats and see people out and about. Not walking from Point A to Point B.”
Further down in his piece, Josh gave his followers a look at how he’s been spending his days during quarantine. “As I walk everyday, be it on Alta or Maple… Whittier or Elm… it takes me to a time when life was simpler,” he wrote. “Where people knew their neighbors’ names. I walked down my street yesterday and admired how the neighbor across the road left a good recipe for carrot soup in my other neighbor Joan Agajanian Quinn’s mailbox.”
While Josh is still in the midst of rebuilding his “dream home,” he is certainly maintaining a calm demeanor during this worldwide pandemic. “Yesterday is history folks. And tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. How will you remember this gift?”
Thanks for the reminder, Josh!
