Ryan Serhant Shares New Before & After Photos of His Brooklyn Home Renovation
Million Dollar Listing New York agent showed off his transformed marble fireplace, kitchen, and elevator.
Back in 2018, Ryan Serhant purchased a $7.6 million townhouse in Brooklyn. As he toured BravoTV.com through the 7,670-square-foot home (see the clip above), the Million Dollar Listing New York agent admitted: "The house is perfect, we can move in as is. But I’m gonna renovate it." And Ryan wasn't referring to a few cosmetic tweaks.
As of February 2021, the townhouse is still in the midst of a massive renovation. But as Ryan said on a recent tour of the home, which he shared on Instagram Stories, the abode is "almost getting there." And he has the before-and-after pics to prove it.
After showing the massive fireplace in the front room, the agent posted a photo of the room as it was before, with a smaller mantel. He gave the same before-and-after treatment to the kitchen, which is currently being outfitted with white cabinets with gold hardware, and marble accents.
Moving up to the "kids' floor," Ryan made note of the progress there. "What this floor used to look like," he captioned a photo. "We closed up part of the atrium and made it double height only on 2 floors," he wrote. "Added another bathroom. Added elevator. Redid everything." And now, he noted, the space is: "almost there."
And speaking of the elevator — which is something Ryan's dreamed of having in his home since he was a kid — the agent also showed off the progress on the lift.
It truly is coming along!
