Ryan Serhant Just Transformed His Brooklyn Townhouse for Christmas: "Better Late Than Never"
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent's "house is ready for [Santa]," and it looks stunning.
While some Bravolebs started decorating for the December holiday season a bit "early" this year, Ryan Serhant finished decking his halls for Christmas closer to the day itself. As the Million Dollar Listing New York agent showed in a December 17 Instagram Story video, the festive transformation was worth the wait.
How Ryan Serhant decorated his Brooklyn townhouse for Christmas
In his video, Ryan shared a look at the festive additions to the Brooklyn townhouse he lives in with his wife, Emilia Bechrakis Serhant, and their daughter, Zena. "House is ready for [Santa]," he wrote in the clip as he showed a shimmering garland with ribbon wrapped on the stair railing. "Better late than never."
As he continued his Story clip, Ryan showed off a wreath hanging on a door and a gorgeous garland adorned with faux red berries on the marble fireplace.
Even when the fireplace isn't decorated, it is stunning in its own right. As Ryan explained in the video above, "The mantel is beautiful, amazing, and took forever to create, especially because it's all vein matched." Additionally, he noted that it is "definitely the most expensive piece" in his parlor.
In a separate Story photo on December 17 that gave a closer look at the decorated mantel, Ryan declared, "Brooklyn [townhouses] are the best, especially during the holidays."
Elsewhere on the parlor floor, the family's eye-catching Christmas tree is decorated with white lights and white, silver, and red ornaments. Topping the tree is an illuminated star (the same one the family used in 2021!).
Details on Ryan Serhant's townhouse
As Ryan shared in the video above, his townhouse renovation took nearly three years to complete. "One year: planning, design, bidding, and then two years — with a little [COVID-19] sprinkled in the middle — of construction," he explained. Now that it's done, the home boasts 12-foot ceilings, a kitchen with "massive counter space," and a "classic brownstone Brooklyn stoop."
Although Ryan didn't show the exterior of the home in his recent Instagram Stories, his family often decorates the stoop with seasonal pieces. In October 2022, the front of the Serhant family's home had pumpkins, potted red and yellow flowers, a small bale of hay, and an eerie witch figure ahead of Halloween. “Look at our stoop,” Ryan proudly said in an Instagram Story video at the time. “All ready for the trick-or-treaters.”
