Chris Oh

Chris Oh burst into public awareness when he won Season 3 of The Great Food Truck Race. Shortly after winning, he opened the popular Seoul Sausage restaurant in Los Angeles where crowds clamor for his galbi poutine, Korean fried chicken, and fried balls stuffed with things like kimchi fried rice and ginger mayo.

But he’s no longer merely a fixture in the open kitchen at Seoul Sausage, which just opened a second branch in downtown Los Angeles and has two food trucks on the road. Chris recently opened Hanjip, an upscale Korean bbq spot in Culver City, to rave reviews, and has another branch of Hanjip set to open in downtown Los Angeles in early 2016. He continues to run Escala, where he developed a Columbian menu (that some Columbians say is as good as home), and will have a chefs' clothing line out in 2016.

Chris has won Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen and Esquire's Knife Fight. He was also a regular chef on Food Network's Kitchen Inferno, NBC's Food Fighters, and a judge on FYI's Late Night Chef Fight.

Even with all of that, he's still not where he wants to be. The end goal is pretty simple: live on the beach and sell Coronas and spam musubis all day. Until then, he'll continue working on being the "Jay-Z of the food world."
