Anna Faris Offered to Officiate Her Ex-Husband Chris Pratt's Wedding After He Shared His Proposal Details Over Text

The House Bunny actress had a joke at the ready, but she handled it with grace.

Chris Pratt is set to be a married man ... again! After splitting from his now ex-wife, Anna Faris, in 2017, the actor has officially put a ring on new love Kathryn Schwarzenegger.

When Pratt shared the news on social media on January 14, his ex was quick to jump in with a gracious statement. "I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!," Faris wrote. But, was there a conversation that also went on in private? As it turns out, yes there was — and Faris herself spilled the tea on what went down.

On her podcast, Anna Faris Is Unqualified, the House Bunny actress shared: "Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, 'I proposed to Katherine last night. I was like 'Ah! That's amazing." She also quipped to Pratt, who's quite serious about his religion: "[I] just want to remind you, I'm an ordained minister... [I'm] not very good at it."

Hmm, we have a feeling Pratt won't take her up on that, but it looks like everyone is being very adult and decent about the whole thing. And that's not something everyone can do! Still, when children are involved and when a relationship is so public-facing, it seems like the best track to take.

In fact, if you've ever wondered how a Kardashian would fare in a similar situation, we have an answer straight from Kourtney Kardashian herself. When the Keeping Up With the Kardashians sister appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on January 14, a fan wrote in to ask how Kourtney would respond if her ex Scott Disick proposed to his girlfriend Sofia Ritchie

Her one-word answer? "Congratulations."
