Is Wendy Williams Spiraling and Making Poor Choices? Here’s Why People Close to Her Are Reportedly Worried

Wendy Williams, still on summer hiatus from her talk show, has reportedly been exhibiting concerning behavior for the last few weeks, leading some to question her sobriety.

“Wendy is not in a good place,” an anonymous source insisted to Us Weekly. “Friends close to her are worried she’s spiraling out of control.”

While that sounds like the most generic anonymous source quote ever, the talk show host has been running around both coasts with a 27-year-old named Marc Tomblin who she met on a wild Los Angeles vacation.

Williams, however, has said that she's having some fun and that turnabout is fair play.

"Look, my husband had a full baby with a woman he was involved with for 15 years ... where I was cooped up only to be a show pony. Now, I'm living my life," she told TMZ as paparazzi asked about her bicoastal jaunts with Tomblin.

Estranged husband Kevin Hunter got wind of that show pony comment, and sent the site his own response via the cloak of another unnamed source, insisting that Williams wasn't interested in going out after doing her talk show every day. Bizarrely, the source added that Hunter disputes Williams' claim that he had an affair (with a woman who has been identified as Sharina Hudson) for 15 years. The source says Hunter has only known his mistress slash mother of his new child for 11 years, not 15. 

The Wendy Williams Show is expected to return on July 8.
