Jamie Foxx Just Bought His Ex a $1.7 Million Home, and Even Suri Cruise Has Some Concerns

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes have been a (maybe) couple for five or six years, and although they rang in the new year on a superyacht, he's since been spotted with other women (including former Gossip Girl cast member Jessica Szohr), and he and Holmes have rarely been seen together in public in 2019. Even more confusingly, he declared he was a single man during the Oscars weekend in a casually-dropped public bombshell, but in late March, they were snapped by paps together for the first time in 86 days.

Now, rumor has it that he's just bought a major piece of property for another woman who he's been seen out with a lot in the last few months. According to Radar Online, Foxx plunked down $1.7 million on a house for his ex Kristin Grannis and their eight-year-old daughter, Annalise. And Radar's nameless source thinks that Katie's 12-year-old daughter, Suri Cruise, is pissed!

“Suri is old enough to understand a lot of things — and she doesn’t like being part of Jamie’s endless party parade,” the source claimed. “She resents the way Katie drops everything when Jamie calls. Suri liked it better when it was just her and Katie.”

This may or may not be a credible source; it's also possible that Suri Cruise and Foxx have developed a close relationship in the past few years. It's likely he has been around her during that time, while her father, Tom Cruise, hasn't.

Foxx's real estate purchase might just be his way of improving his relationship with his own daughter and her mother.

Two years ago, Grannis' own father, Richard, told Radar, “Kristin and Jamie’s relationship has become more tense in the last year because of his other relationships. It makes things more complex, especially considering their daughter is old enough to understand what is going on.”
