Yes, you read that correctly. Her name is ... adjacent to his junk.
The Frasier actor recently stopped by Conan and revealed he stays on the straight and narrow because of the oddly placed tattoo. "My wife said, ‘Why don’t you get a tattoo?’ I guess it was sort of based on the idea that if ever I thought maybe a peccadillo outside the marriage was a good idea, that whoever might be … you know … [seeing] this particular piece of equipment was already signed and owned by someone named Kayte."
Ok, great, thank you, Kelsey, for that.
The ex-husband of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Camille Grammer does have his ink in a pretty unusual spot, says RED, manager and resident tattoo artist at Hells Kitchen Ink in New York City. Listen, the guy's seen everything under the sun when it comes to tattoos, and swears the crotch area remains a highly unusual spot to ink your partner's name.
“Not in private areas, I don’t see names so much,” he tells Personal Space. “Not everybody gets tats in their private areas.”
We didn’t think so.
As for inking Kayte’s name? RED has a very interesting take on that.
“Tats of names, we call ‘repeat business,’” he says, adding, “Once someone gets a name tattoo, they end up getting it covered up.”
In fact, he says it’s the most common cover up in the tattoo industry.
“We warn them before they do them. It’s like a bad omen, “ he says. “We say, 'You’ll be back here to cover it up,’ but you can only talk to clients so much. They’re gonna do what they want. It is permanent and they know it, but they do it anyway.”
The rare times he has done a private area? One memorable one was a woman who requested … strawberries.
