Brandon Maxwell Talks Dressing Meghan Markle, Michelle Obama, and Lady Gaga
Plus, the Bravo's Project Runway judge reveals his "Super Bowl" fashion moment.
When he isn't creating next-level designs for his namesake fashion house or judging the next generation of designers on Bravo's Project Runway, you can find Brandon Maxwell curating pieces for top A-listers. That's right: Brandon is responsible for some of the most iconic fashion moments for celebs including Lady Gaga, Meghan Markle, Michelle Obama, and Oprah, just to name a few.
Last night on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Brandon not only dished on his experience dressing each of these stars, he also revealed what one was one of his proudest red carpet moments in his career. When Andy asked Brandon if he had a favorite look he designed for Lady Gaga, Brandon brought up the stunning, black satin ball gown he designed for the "Shallow" singer's 2019 Oscars appearance.
"I'm the biggest fan of the Oscars in the world — it really is my Super Bowl. So that was like my dream come true," he shared.
Watch the video above to learn what it's like to dress the former FLOTUS, the Duchess of Sussex, and Oprah. Plus, see Brandon judge The Real Housewives of New York City ladies' Season 11 looks.
