Project Runway's Elaine Welteroth Stunned at Her First Oscars Red Carpet
The Project Runway judge, who wore a fringed Celia Kritharioti Couture number, says she'll "never be over last night."
Elaine Welteroth had one thing in mind when picking out her gown to walk down her very first Oscars red carpet. "My one request? Something boomerangable," the Bravo's Project Runway judge and Instagram queen explained on her Instagram Stories.
A shimmery strapless Celia Kritharioti Couture embroidered gown with feather-like rectangular sequins styled by Karla Welch proved to be just the dress for Elaine. "Had to give them a little boomerang," she wrote as she twirled in front of photographers in this regal light blue dream of a gown.
Elaine couldn't get over it, writing on Instagram: "Baby’s first OSCARS RED CARPET!!!" She added: "And thank you @karlawelchstylist for making a girl from the Bay feel like a queen among queens. Anything is possible, family!!!"
To go with this stunning gown, Elaine went with standout diamond earrings and a major hair moment.
She wrote this morning: "I’ll never be over last night...or this ponytail...!" We know exactly what you mean, Elaine!
