We see so much go down on Shahs of Sunset each week, but have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes? Well, the producers of the show revealed some exclusive secrets about the cast in an enhanced version of Season 8, Episode 10 that aired on April 17. Read on to find out exactly what the production team had to say about the cast and their antics from the episode!

1. The Filler Fiasco

How to Watch

Producers say Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi convinced Destiney Rose to get injections and made it seem like they wouldn't hurt. "GG kept insisting it would be fine and doesn't hurt at all — even though she knew it would," producers say.

The crew actually took a bet on how many "voy, voy, voys" Destiney would say, explaining, "We think she got up to over 20 that day. She says this word a lot."

Destiney had the crew in stitches the whole time. They couldn't stop laughing because she cursed every time she got injected or the needle came close to her face.

2. It's All Fun and Games

When Mike Shouhed and Reza Farahan went to Two Bit Circus to hang out and play some games, the producers didn't know what they were in for. The team notes that Mike and Reza were hilarious playing Skee-Ball, but one cast member might've taken the competition a little too far.

"Mike tried to climb up the Skee-Ball machine to make points — major cheating going on there," say producers.

3. Destiney and Dating

At this point, Destiney had been seeing Sara Jehooni's brother Sam for a hot minute. This situation had its own drama — namely Sara's disapproval — and Destiney was nervous about people seeing her date a younger guy. "She didn't know how Sam was going to act in front of the camera," say producers.

Sam was "young-minded and a bit naive so he wasn't interested in having a dinner," the team says, adding, "He would've preferred a night out at a club, bar, or just them in the room."

So, what are the producers' final thoughts on this relationship? They say Destiney was too mature for Sam and she "thought she could make it work."

4. A New MJ

Motherhood has changed Mercedes "MJ" Javid's life in so many ways. In fact, the crew noticed a massive change in her personality ever since she gave birth to her son, Shams Francis Feight. So, what's the main difference between the old MJ and MJ today? "How responsible she's become," say producers.

5. The Meeting Between Reza and MJ

This scene was a turning point for both parties. Despite all of the tense moments and aggressive tones we've seen and heard from Reza and MJ this season, there was no security around during their meeting.

Things got super emotional during their chat and producers say Reza "acts like a tough guy... But he's really a teddy bear."

6. GG's Scooter

GG wanted to attend the Boots & Brews Country Musical Festival with all of her friends, but she also needed to follow her doctor's orders following her surgery. Luckily, she was able ride a motorized scooter around the event (thanks to Nema Vand).

"She was in pain that week and wouldn't go unless she had something to get around in," say producers.

Keep in mind, GG had not used a scooter like this prior to the festival, so it took some getting used to.

7. That Scary Medical Emergency

Everyone had been dancing and partying for at least a couple of hours before GG started feeling ill at the festival. It was a scary moment for both the cast and the crew. Eventually, we learned that the culprit was "too much mac and cheese." Producers emphasize that they did not know GG was lactose intolerant.
