Asa: The Whole Thing Was a Toxic Time Bomb

Asa: The Whole Thing Was a Toxic Time Bomb

Asa Soltan Rahmati dishes on her latest art project and the dramatic confrontation between GG and Mike.

By Asa Soltan Rahmati

Bravotv.com: How involved were you with your parents' house renovation?
Asa Soltan Rahmati: Aesthetics, design, and architecture are my thing. When I'm being creative, especially when it comes to design, I'm in my element. So I can definitely be a bit controlling, but mainly because I want it to look amazing. And I knew that my parents would be super happy with the end results.

Bravotv.com: What inspired your new art project?
ASR: The state of the world inspires me for all my art projects. When one woman anywhere in the world is oppressed, we are all oppressed. I will feel united with my sisters around the world and until my last day on this earth; it is part of my journey to be part of the change. I truly believe that if you witness injustice and do nothing about it, you are part of the problem. I am so excited to share my project with you all!

Bravotv.com: How disastrous was GG's decision to confront Mike at Shervin's party?
ASR: I was dying on the inside when Golnesa dropped the nuclear bomb on Mike right in front of everyone. My heart broke. The whole thing was like a toxic time bomb that was bound to burst, because it was ignored for so long. From here on it's damage control.
