The Daily Dish Shahs of Sunset

Meet Woody! Reza and Adam Have a New Kitty, Thanks to Mike Shouhed

He did it to fill the void left by Buzz, the kitty the Shahs of Sunset pair lost in March.

By Brienne Walsh

In March, Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan and his husband, Adam, lost their beloved cat, Buzzy.

To help them get over to their loss — and keep their other kitty company — fellow cast member Mike Shouhed gifted them with a new cat, a black and white Persian cat named Woody.

In a comment on Reza’s Instagram post introducing Woody to his fans, Mike wrote: “Buzz will never be forgotten, but as a pet lover, I know that you and @theadamneely needed to fill that void. Enjoy this little furry baby. My pleasure to bless ur fam with a Persian kitty.”

Look at this kitty's adorable lil goatee/soul patch!

We love our new lil guy, thank @mikeshouhed #Woddy

The Shahs do say that no matter what happens between them, they’re still family, and we love to see evidence that this is true. Mike, what a sweetheart move. And it goes without saying that a glamorous Persian cat is perfect for Reza, the self-proclaimed Persian Paris Hilton

Woody joins canine brother Marty and Miss Moo, a blind cat Reza and Adam adopted from an animal hoarding situation in Oklahoma in 2016. Miss Moo, despite her handicap, is apparently a force to be reckoned with. In a post celebrating her year anniversary with the couple, Reza wrote: “She’s a lil thug. She can do anything and everything and within a couple of days she started running $h*t in our house.”

Moo may be a boss b-tch, but she is still happy to share her personal Instagram page with her new little brother. Woody’s fierce fluff has been featured many times over the past few weeks — although the pair have yet to appear together.

Given that Woody is a Persian, he probably is affectionate, loyal, and smarter than he looks. We wonder how much longer Moo will rule the roost — and if she is usurped, will she even realize it?

I’m so in love😍 #Woody

In any case, Reza already loves Woody like he’s family. We’re happy the pair has bonded.

We can’t wait to see Woody in upcoming seasons of Shahs of Sunset — by the way, when does Season 7 air?
