Kathryn Dennis Has Moved Again: "F--k Living in a House That’s 5 Stories"
The Southern Charm mom of two has moved out of her pink 5-story abode and is residing somewhere more manageable.
This season on Southern Charm, we watched Kathryn Dennis move into an adorable, pink (!!) Charleston home with her two children. Although the home's facade and back patio were stunning and the interior was decorated to perfection, the dwelling did have some sore spots. Besides the very steep rent of $6,600 per month, the house was also a whopping five stories high! Now that's a lot of stairs to climb...
Home & Design recently caught up with the fashionista, and she let us in on some news: "I've moved out," Kathryn shared. "I rented for 6 months."
Although Kathryn loved the "cozy" house's "salmon color" and that "it had a lot of wood on the inside and unique wall structures," it turns out the stairs were just as daunting as we'd imagine: "F--k living in a house that's five stories. Excuse me... Nothing ever made it to the top floor."
Now, Kathryn is residing in a new space while her dream home is in the works. "I'm back at my grandfather's," she told Home & Design. "It's paid off, so I'm trying to save up to build my first home. I'm building it with my business partner [Donna Steele] and her husband."
Although Kathryn admits that it's "hard to find land" nearby, she's not going to uproot altogether: "I gotta stay close to Charleston, but I don't want to be in the thick of all that crap, you know? I want a normal life. I had a normal upbringing and I think that was crucial."
