Would Patricia Altschul Ever Sell Her Charleston Mansion?
The Southern Charm matriarch has strong thoughts on her storied estate.
Patricia Altschul's 19th-century Charleston estate is fit for royalty, from the old-fashioned morning room and double drawing room to the large house staff and artifacts sourced from the Duke and Duchess of Windsor's personal sale. And don't even get us started on her piazza (aka her sprawling porch). Dubbed the Isaac Jenkins Mikell House, the property is simply a real estate wonder to behold (take a tour in the video above) and the Southern Charm matriarch loves to share its majesty by throwing lots of parties and social occasions there.
That said, would she ever consider downsizing or moving to a different locale? She definitively answered the question via an Instagram post.
"Hi y’all....a fan just asked if I’d sell my house...Never EVER," she wrote. "I’m here to stay forever."
Well, that's a relief! Hopefully, her fabulous themed dinner parties and galas will also continue forever.
