But when it comes to her beauty game, the fiery redhead usually sports her long, flowing locks in relaxed curls — until now. 

On October 2, Kathryn shared a few behind-the-scenes snaps on her Instagram Stories of her very first Brazilian blowout where the Charleston native transformed her strands from long and strawberry blond to short, auburn, and pin-straight. 

She catalogued the whole process of getting her fresh new hue to working with stylist Gabby Garrison as she tamed her tresses into a sleek, angled bob. The new 'do is so sophisticated and a dramatic departure from how we've seen Kathryn style her hair in the past. 

But if we know Kathryn like we do... this style may not last too long, as our resident chameleon is always up to something special.
