Austen Kroll “Finally Completed” 2 Major Rooms in His House: See Before & After Photos
The Southern Charm-er shared an exciting update on his house — although he’s “almost embarrassed to admit” how long it took to accomplish.
In June 2021, Austen Kroll revealed he had purchased a new home in Charleston, and more than a year later, the Southern Charm-er opened up to BravoTV.com about continuing to get settled in the gorgeous four-bedroom, three-bathroom house.
“I’ve made so much progress with, like, you know, a light fixture here, a chandelier here,” he said in August 2022, noting that one of his bedrooms is used as an office. “My third bedroom upstairs I haven’t completed yet… So there are just things that I’m excited to get going. But I painted it, and I did some fun things here and there. It’s moving along slowly, but I haven’t gotten a chance to dedicate a full amount of time to completing my house.”
More recently, Austen had an exciting update to share on the status of his home. “Soo once again, I’m almost embarrassed to admit, but I’ve been in my house for almost two years, and my two guest rooms were finally completed by my incredibly talented friend [Rodrigo Antonio Reyes],” he wrote over a March 20 Instagram Story photo of one of the bedrooms before it was decorated. As he showed in a Story photo that followed, the room that was previously furnished with just a dresser and a bed has been transformed with the addition of dark curtains, a ceiling fan, a fuzzy white chair, a new green wall color, a mirror above the dresser, accent decor, and an eye-catching rug beneath the bed.
Sharing a closer look at the framed wall art, Austen wrote, “Can’t forget the personal touch with the [custom-made] pictures by [Rodrigo Antonio Reyes], which match the room color (mountain road) with a subtle nod to [Trop Hop].”
Austen then proceeded to show his other new-and-improved guest room. The space — which initially had “just a mattress on the ground,” a nightstand, and a rug — is now decorated with a new bed topped with chic bedding, two new nightstands to replace the old one, a new rug, curtains, a stylish mirror, and beautiful accent decor.
During his interview with BravoTV.com in 2022, Austen admitted that his new home was “very bachelor-ish,” explaining, “if I had a wife in the house, or someone in the house that was living with me, [they] would probably be like, ‘We’re gonna switch up some of this stuff here.’”
The feel of the house, he said, strikes a balance between “trying to be sophisticated” and “still having fun.”
