"Let me start by saying I usually don't talk about my private life. But, there is someone I’ve fallen for hook line and sinker. She had good bones but needed a little lipstick and rouge. I was honored I had the opportunity to be her caretaker," the Southern Charm hairstylist captioned an August 2 Instagram post. "She helped me to entertain, kept me warm and offered us a place where I could explore my love of design with the help of [Hayes + Nash Design Co.] You don't have to speculate any longer, I’m talking about my house, my first house."

Madison then elaborated on her gratitude for the home.

"I’ve burned candles and bridges in her I’ve learned hard lessons in her like when you love something you let it go. She’s been a great friend and I guess this is my thank you letter to a house," she continued. "She’s not been any house but a home for us.Thank you for being a constant in my ever-changing life. Thank you for watching over me while I grew, learned, suffered and blossomed. Thank you for being affordable when I had very little money. Thank you for making me smile when I pull in the driveway and see weeds in the flower bed and window panes that needed replacing. Thank you for looking even more beautiful with every new coat of paint and change I made."

Madison took a moment to recall the highs and lows she experienced while living in the house, which, as seen in the photos, boasts a vibrant outdoor area, dreamy bedrooms, and a chic bathroom.

"Thank you for hosting the showers, tours and the impromptu dance parties in your hall. Thank you for the security in the wee hours of the night when I was at my weakest, loneliest, and most afraid," she wrote. "Thank you for the safety of your walls when it was just me, you and God. Thank you for releasing me from this part of my life so I can move onto the next phase. I release you too, so you can shelter the next person who is [lucky] enough to share some of their life under your roof."

Earlier this year, Madison shared a peek inside the home's living room, which was adorned with two giant area rugs layered on top of each other, a white wood TV console, and a leather ottoman. At the time, she shared her excitement as she prepared to redecorate the space.

“I can’t wait for you guys to see everything we got going on, new couch is being delivered," she said on Instagram. "I’ll do a home tour at some point, but you guys are going to love it.”
