Madison LeCroy Responds to Accusations That She’s Trying to Look Like Dorit Kemsley
“It’s not like I went and had plastic surgery and said, ‘Hey, help me look like this,’” the Southern Charm-er said.
Over the years, fans have noticed how a few Bravolebs bear an uncanny resemblance to each other. Back in 2020, Vanderpump Rules alum Dayna Kathan revealed how much she and The Real Housewives of New York City alum Leah McSweeney looked alike. Similarly, Summer House’s Amanda Batula shared earlier in January that she was getting comparisons to RHONY newcomer Jenna Lyons.
Another look-alike moment recently hit the Bravosphere after Madison LeCroy shared a gorgeous après-ski snap on January 26. The Southern Charm-er’s long-sleeved black zip-up top, black ski sunglasses from Pit Viper, and black headband not only garnered compliments from the likes of Olivia Flowers and Ciara Miller, but also left Bravoholics comparing her to another blonde beauty: Dorit Kemsley.
Following numerous comments from fans who emphasized how easily they mistook the Charleston mom for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member, Madison took to her Instagram Stories to clear up a few assumptions hurled her way.
“I keep getting messages that I look like Dorit or ‘Why am I trying to look like Dorit?’” Madison began the January 26 video. “I didn’t do that. I think that Dorit is gorgeous, so thank you — I said that as a compliment. But… it’s not like I went and had plastic surgery and said, ‘Hey, help me look like this.’”
The salon owner noted that while they both have “blonde hair” and “fake lips,” that was perhaps where the resemblance ended. “I’m not trying to look like anybody but me — well… enhanced,” she quipped.
Madison’s husband, Brett Randle, also made an appearance in the Story, asking, “Who’s Dorit?”
OK, so… maybe we can’t all be Bravoholics at the end of the day, but we love when Brett weighs in!
