Madison LeCroy Shares a "Fun Fact" About Her Charleston House
The Southern Charm cast member showed off a beautiful — and good-luck-inducing — feature of her new home.
Madison LeCroy's Charleston home has some fabulous features. The Southern Charm cast member lives in a beautiful, four-bedroom house that oozes classic Southern appeal. It has a double porch, a glam room, and a "hot" porch cleaner who lives in-house. (More on that later.)
But Madison's dream home also has a feature that not many people know about. She revealed it when she dropped a "fun fact" about her new house.
Madison LeCroy explains the color of her porch
In a recent Instagram Story, Madison shared a photo of her porch ceiling. That may not sound exciting, but the ceiling has some magical properties — if you're slightly superstitious, anyway.
Madison's photo showed a ceiling with a light-blue tint, courtesy of Benjamin Moore's "Lookout Point" paint color. "Fun fact of the day," Madison wrote in text that overlaid her photo. "Why paint your porch ceiling blue?"
Well, there are a couple of very compelling reasons why, according to Madison. Number one, Madison explained: "[a blue porch ceiling] brings good luck to the home and helps ward away evil spirits."
Apparently, a blue porch ceiling will discourage wasps from building nests there. Who knew?
Madison's next photo offered another peek at her light-blue ceiling. Lookout Point is a very pale shade of blue — but don't call it white! "Yes, it's blue," Madison confirmed in her caption.
Madison's photos also shared a glimpse of the beautiful, bright flowers in the planters on her front porch. Lush trees and blue skies completed the cheery, wasp-and-evil-spirit-free backdrop.
Madison does yard work in her own special way
Here's another fun fact: Madison waters those porch plants in a cut-out swimsuit. The stunner recently shared a photo of herself spraying her flowers down in a colorful suit from Beach Riot.
Paige DeSorbo popped into the comments on the sexy, plant-friendly post. “Imagine going to get the mail and seeing this perfect human as your neighbor,” the Summer House fashion contributor wrote.
Imagine, indeed!
Madison's husband Brett does porch duty, too
Remember the "hot" in-house porch cleaner mentioned above? Well, that'd be Madison's husband, Brett.
Back in April, the salon owner shared an Instagram Story that showed her hubby spraying down the front porch. Madison summed up her thoughts with a two-word caption: “That’s hot.”
Madison and Brett moved into their current home last spring. At the time, Hudson's mama told BravoTV.com, “I literally am living in Pleasantville, like in the best way possible. Everyone is just so welcoming. I’ve never been this happy in my life.”
