Venita Aspen Had Her Home Blessed “3 Times” After Moving into Shep’s Old Apartment
The Southern Charm beauty opened up about moving into her castmate’s former home.
On the June 30 episode of Southern Charm, Venita Aspen revealed a fun fact about her current home. “I live in [Shep Rose’s] old apartment,” she told Marcie Hobbs. “I still get his mail.”
As we saw on the show’s July 21 episode, Venita’s “super neat” “bachelorette pad” now features colorful wallpaper, a beautiful outdoor space, and a dining room that she transformed into a spacious closet for her impressive clothing collection. However, when she initially moved in, her primary focus wasn’t exactly on furniture or decor.
“I got it blessed. I got Shep’s old apartment blessed three times,” she said with a laugh during a recent interview with BravoTV.com. “Three different denominations. Not sure if that’s acceptable or not, but we did it.” She added: “The first couple of days, I was like, OK, are girls gonna knock on the door and be like, ‘Is Shep still here?’ But luckily, I didn’t have to deal with that.”
In fact, Venita has yet to come across anything from Shep’s past in the home (aside from his mail, of course). “I didn’t find anything underneath the floorboards,” she quipped. “There was nothing underneath the cabinets. We were good.”
